findtime for Slack is a timezone conversion and meeting-planning app built for distributed teams that coordinate across cities, countries, and time zones.
It helps users answer common collaboration questions inside Slack, such as what time a meeting is in another location, what time it is right now for teammates in other regions, and which overlap windows are fairest across multiple locations.
The app is designed to reduce context switching by returning answers directly in Slack instead of forcing users to open a separate website first.

The app integrates with Slack primarily through the /findtime slash command, which users can run in channels, direct messages, and thread reply composers.
It also integrates through direct messages with the bot, allowing users to send the same types of requests as plain messages in a 1:1 Slack conversation.
Responses are delivered back into Slack as message output, so users can read results, share time comparisons, and continue the conversation in the same Slack workflow.
For deeper exploration, results can link back to related findtime.io pages, but the core query and response flow happens inside Slack.

After installation, Slack adds the /findtime slash command to the workspace.
No separate findtime account setup is required before first use.
Users can run /findtime in channels, direct messages, and thread reply boxes where slash commands are available.
Users can also open a direct message with the findtime bot and type the same queries as plain messages.

Result: findtime posts a timezone conversion, current-time lookup, meeting suggestion, or timezone/DST result back into Slack.

Result: findtime replies in the DM using the same query formats supported by /findtime.

After installation, open Slack and run /findtime in any channel, DM, or thread composer where slash commands are available.

For more advanced use, try a multi-timezone planning request like /findtime New York London Tokyo.

findtime includes AI-assisted features, especially for meeting-planning and some natural-language interpretation.
